Zhejiang Rifa Precision Machinery Co., Ltd (hereinafter ‘Rifa PM’) is a high-tech company focusing on CNC machine tools manufacturing. Machining Center Manufacturing S.P.A was initiated and founded in 1978 by five seasoned technicians. Since its establishment, it has been focusing on developing, designing and manufacturing machine tools. The company headquarters and factory are located in a northern city called Piacenza, 90km from Milan. It has 230 employees.

As the world leading manufacturer of horizontal machining centers, MCM’s products include large machining centers, heavy machine tools, and related automatic accessories, with high precision, high flexibility, high reliability and high efficiency. It harbors the capability to provide an overall solution for automatic processing and production. The company’s products enjoy wide application, with Airbus, Augusta Westland (world’s second largest helicopter manufacturer), GE, RR, Race Front, Ferrari, DaimlerChrysler, and Alstom as its biggest clients. On May 7, 2014, RIFA PM signed the share purchase agreement with MCM. The transaction was smoothly settled on August 7, 2014.

Zhejiang Rifa Aviation Digital Equipment LLC (hereinafter RIFA Aviation Equipment) was founded in 2014, with a registration capital of 50mn RMB. It is a subsidiary of Zhejiang Rifa Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. It is specialized the R&D and manufacturing of aerospace non-traditional machining, aircraft digitalized assembly system, and special work fixtures, as well as the processing and manufacturing of aerospace precision accessories. It is positioned to provide full set of solution to aerospace clients.

The four primary products are: composite material processing equipment, aircraft large-size accessory digital assembling line, wall panel type accessory automatic drilling & riveting equipment, and carbon fiber automatic stacking/fiber placement equipment.

Zhejiang Rifa Newland Machine Tool Co., Ltd is a joint venture of Zhejiang Rifa Digital Precision Machinery Ltd, and Newland Machine Tool Group, Canada. It is dedicated to developing, manufacturing, and selling various types of lathe, boring mill, and vertical mill with global competitive advantages.

Newland Machine Tool Group is an engineering technology company. Its technology center, New Land Solutions, is located at Toronto, Canada. The technology engineering team of the company has an average experience of over 25 years in designing and manufacturing heavy machine tools. They have designed hundreds of unique heavy horizontal boring milling machining centers, vertical turn milling machining centers, and vertical grinders with wide application in North America and Europe. Their clients include GE, GM, Pratt & Whitney Group, Caterpillar, Alstom, FAG, INA Bearing, and etc. Even the military in US and Canada are the large clients of Newland, who has hundreds of most advanced equipment in active service.

Xinzhou Rifa is jointly established by Zhejiang Rifa Digital Precision Machinery Co., Ltd, and Kefeiya Heavy Equipment Ltd, in Xinzhou, Shanxi Province. Located at Zhuangmo Town, Xinfu District, it covers a land area of 378 mu and the construction area of about 150,000 square meters. With the annual production of foundry products of 100,000 tons, it has become the largest modern foundry enterprise in North China.

Hangzhou Rifa Intelligent Systems Engineering Co., Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhejiang Rifa Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. It introduces the JFMX System which was independently researched and developed by MCM Machining Centers Manufacturing SpA, develops the software for the flexible system management and responds to the concept of Industry 4.0. Also it makes full use of the combination of the information and communication technology and the cyber space virtual system-cyber physical system.
