[Air Xiya] Air Xiya held the Certificate Granting of CCAR – 135 and “New Tourism Industry — Silk Road in the Air” Urumchi Low Altitude Tourism Project Launching Ceremony

In the afternoon of 18 December, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) granting Air Xiya CCAR-135 Operation Certification and Urumqi Low-altitude Tourism Project Launching Ceremony was held in Urumchi, indicating that Air Xiya has obtained the only non-scheduled passenger carrying commercial operator qualification for helicopters in Xinjiang, and also marking the officially kick-off of Urumqi low-altitude tourism project. The following leaders presented the ceremony: Zhou Xiang, deputy director of CAAC Xinjiang Administration; Wang Fazhong, deputy director of Flight Standard department of CAAC Xinjiang Administration and operating inspector of Air Xiya; senior leaders of the departments of flight standard, aircraft airworthiness certification, transport, navigation, public security, aviation affairs, aviation security, etc of CAAC; Wang Yuxin, deputy director of Urumqi Tourism Bureau; Pang Dingjian, chairman of Urumchi Tourism Investment Co., Ltd., etc.

At the ceremony, Sheng Yu, general manager of Air Xiya, made a report on CCAR – 135 examination situation, and Wang Fazhong, deputy director of flight standard department of CAAC Xinjiang Administration and operating inspector of Air Xiya, summarized the examination and approvals of CCAR – 135. Zhou Xiang, deputy director of CAAC Xinjiang Administration, granted the CCAR – 135 Operation Certificate to Sheng Yu.

Sheng Yu said at the ceremony, “It’s a new starting point for the company to obtain 135 operation certificate. In the future, Air Xiya will take roots and make innovative breakthroughs for further development.”

“New Tourism Industry — Silk Road in the Air” Urumqi Low-altitude Tourism Project is an important carrier of the strategic cooperation between Air Xiya, as a CAAC“Aviation + Tourism”pilot unit, and Urumchi Tourism Bureau to create high-end tourism products.

From 18 January, 2018, Air Xiya will officially launch three air sightseeing routes, namely “Fantastic Valley Trip”, “Journey to the Charming Glaciers” and “Heavenly Mount Bogda”. The airplanes will be the internationally advanced French Airbus H125 or US Bell 429 helicopter.
